"My Yard Would Be Full of Sallows" Abstract Feminine Form Painting with Gold Leaf - 8x10"
Feminine forms and gold, with peeks of original poetry tucked in.
Writing has always been a great joy for me. It feels very comfortable working words into my painting now.
Mixed media- acylic inks, graphite, acrylic mediums and gold leaf applied to 8x10" 135lb Italian paper.
Poetry hidden underneath was written by me. It was part of a found poem I wrote in 2006, which says, "My yard will be full of sallows." Sallows are a type of willow tree, and this is reference to how important it is to plant the rightseeds to grow the life you want.
